Hi all!

I’ve been excited to share this, because I LOVE reading these kind of product review blogs, and I decided to do one of my own! These are my top 10 favorite bath and beauty products – all under $100! This also gave me the perfect excuse to test out my brand new macro lens!!

Make no mistake, I am in NO way, shape or form, an expert, seller, promoter, anything of that sort to ANY of these products, I personally use them and want to share my thoughts and opinions. I am also WAY all over the beauty spectrum – applying $50 shadow, followed by $6 drugstore mascara. Who else is with me??

Let’s do this!

Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara

Alright guys, I know there are a million choices for mascara out there, and I’ve definitely tried a BUNCH, but I keep coming back to ol’ faithful – Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express in Glam Black (that’s a mouthful) I started using this stuff when I was a freshman in high school, and I still love it! I’ve found that it’s very similar to Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, but for a fraction of the price! You can find it any drugstore/Walmart for around $6 or here

The Wet Brush

If you have children who hate getting their hair brushed – YOU NEED ONE OF THESE. The Wet Brush is truly a God-sent gift. Don’t let it fool you, it literally looks like a cheap plastic hairbrush, and I have no idea what makes it work any differently than other brushes, but take my word for it when I say that this brush is a game changer! It’s made to eliminate breakage/tugging when brushing wet hair, to detangle, but can be used on dry hair as well (obviously) and works just as great! They come in a bunch of colors, and between my daughter and I, I think we have 6 of these bad boys. I will NEVER go without one of these, and you can find them in salons for around $10 or here

Neutrogena Deep Clean Purifying Clay Mask

I am always on the hunt for a good in-shower face mask, and the Neutrogena Clay Mask is my favorite so far. I had a prior bad experience with a face mask, It was “steam-activated” and less than 30 seconds after I put it on, my face was ON FIRE. I quickly washed the mask off, only for it to leave my face looking like a tomato – the reaction lasted 2 hours!! SO, needless to say, I took a break from face masks until I found this one! It’s a creamy, clay mask and I use it 1-2 times a week. I usually leave it on for about 3-5 minutes, but I’ve left it on longer and everything has been fine! It leaves my face SUPER smooth and refreshed! You can find this at any drugstore for around $8 or here

Flawless

Okay, I’m not usually one to give those “seen on TV” products a try, but this little thing is definitely a hero, NOT a zero (channeling my inner Lori from Shark Tank/QVC) It’s called Flawless and it gets rid of unwanted facial peach fuzz! No, it doesn’t hurt (it doesn’t feel like anything at all) and it definitely  doesn’t make the hair grow back any quicker/thicker (I wouldn’t use it if that were the case!!) It’s about the size of a tube of lipgloss and super discrete.  It also has a built-in light (which I don’t find to be particularly helpful, but hey, it’s there) You can find this at Walgreens for $20 or here

MoroccanOil

The first best thing about this stuff is the smell. I also use the MoroccanOil shampoo and conditioner which smell the same as the oil (above) which is nice because I hate using a bunch of stuff with different smells. Anyway, I put one pump of oil in my hands and work through my hair right after a shower. You TRULY only need ONE squirt because this is oil, and if you use too much, you’ll get a little greasy. However, it does last forever! Makes my hair super smooth and helps detangle! You can find this stuff at your salon for around $30 or here

LUSH Bath Bombs

I may or may not have a hoard of these bad boys in my bathroom. I am obsessed with LUSH bath bombs, and they are my favorite bath bombs I’ve found! I also really love the story behind LUSH – they are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, natural, and all that good stuff. You know EXACTLY what’s in all of their products. If you haven’t physically been into a LUSH store, do yourself a favor and stop in next time you come across one. All of their products aren’t packaged (this one is because I ordered it online) and they encourage you to test out their products and fill your own bag to reduce waste from packaging. This one pictured above is called Dragon’s Egg and is one of my favs! Depending on the size and ingredients, LUSH bath bombs range anywhere from $6-$12 each and let me tell you, they are WELL worth it. Find them here

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick

I’m not usually huge on lipstick, but this stuff is so good, I kept going back for more! The name says it all – it goes on like butta’ and is super smooth and creamy, and doesn’t get stuck! It’s NOT a lip stain, so it does fade a bit, but the pigment is super concentrated, so even when faded/worn off, color is still there! And, I will admit, the graphic designer in me is a total sucker for the packaging, but the product totally delivers!  Colors above from left to right are, Angelic Nude, Tulip, Golden Pink and Plummy Rose (my favorite) This might be considered a splurge item, at $17 a pop, but you can find it here

Aveeno Clear Complexion Duo

I would say that I have fairly normal skin, but I do have the occasional breakout every now and then. This stuff is perfect for that! I use both of these daily to wash and moisturize my face. Both do have salicylic acid in them (acne treatment) but at the lower dose, so it doesn’t dry out my face, but works more as a preventative for acne. I love that the cleanser is foam, because it’s light and I can easily wash my entire face (eyes closed, obviously) quickly and without being overwhelmed with a harsh smell (doesn’t smell like anything) I typically use the moisturizer exclusively at night because it is a heavier cream and I like to let my face soak it in without putting anything else on. Both can be found at your drugstore for $7-$11. The moisturizer cream is a little bit more expensive than the face wash, but some places sell them as a set, which is a little cheaper! Find them here and here

TIGI Bed Head “Oh Bee Hive” Dry Shampoo

And on the seventh day, God created dry shampoo (insert praying hands emoji) I have been a Bed Head fan for a long time, but I recently tried out the dry shampoo. I won’t lie, at first I was totally turned off by the COLOR of the can!! As crazy as that sounds, the yellow just immediately turned me away, but one use of this stuff and I was hooked. The smell is unbelievably out of the world amazing, and it works great! You can find it at your salon for around $15 or on Amazon here

Vikor & Rolf FLOWERBOMB Perfume

I saved this one for last because it’s definitely one of my all-time favorites. I will say that it is a liiiiitle expensive, and some people’s hearts may flutter a little at the price, but I’m telling you, this is the BEST smelling perfume I have ever found, and one bottle lasts FOREVER. Good news, there are smaller roll-on bottles and other options that are cheaper and just as good. This stuff lingers like no other. This was my first “big girl, adulting” perfume and I now understand why PINK body mists are $10 and last a whole 2 seconds after spraying them. You get what you pay for. I can’t tell you how many people have asked what I’m wearing, and I’m still waiting on that commission check in the mail because one whiff, and you’re hooked. You can find this at Macy’s or on Amazon here

Happy shopping!
